The Most Interesting Attractions in Atlanta

Situated on the Piedmont Plateau, Atlanta is the capital of the state of Georgia. Being known for having the busiest airport in the world, the city boasts numerous attractions for everyone. Atlanta is divided into seven districts, but the three skylines are represented by Downtown, Midtown and Buckhead. If you want to enjoy every part of the city, you should definitely use the services of an Atlanta charter bus company and forget about directions. The charter bus driver will receive your itinerary and do all the driving for you and your group.

If you are in Atlanta, you should definitely visit the following attractions:

The Georgia Aquarium

Known as being the largest aquarium in the world, the Georgia Aquarium makes the top attraction on everyone's list. It features rare and huge species of marine creatures, such as beluga whales, whale sharks and manta rays, so you can imagine the size of this tank.

New World of Coca-Cola

Located close to the Georgia Aquarium, The World of Coca Cola is a permanent exhibition presented by the Coca-Cola Company. It features the whole history of the product, as well as a real bottling line and a 4D theater. Like any other company that offers a tour of their factory, you can also taste the product. You have a wide selection of about 60 different products to taste, so this part will surely take some time.

CNN Studio Tour

A quite unique attraction is the CNN Studio Tour, where you can take a look at what's happening behind the scenes of CNN. The tour sells quickly and reservations are a must. Not so recommended for children though, because of the boredom they could experience.

Centennial Park

In 1996, Atlanta was the host of the Centennial Olympic Games. The park is known as one of the largest downtown parks in the U.S., with more than 3 million visitors a year. Its main attractions are the synchronized lights and water jets.

Zoo Atlanta

Founded in 1889, Zoo Atlanta is one of the oldest tourist attractions in the city. Home to a large number of gorillas and orangutans, the zoo is also one of the few places where you can see giant pandas.

Getting from one attraction to another is pretty much time consuming, and without a guide you could waste your time asking for directions. That is why you should consider contacting an Atlanta charter bus company and have a smooth journey, without having to worry about the road.
